Well, Follow Me Down The Path Of The Blues And Madness

Well, I believe my art is somewhat sublime which may be the reason I don't compare myself much to others work, I've never been much of a competitive type. =)

All I can tell you is if you watch this gallery your gonna get a flavor of art punched right into your zombie washed mind.

I draw all kinds a stuff, I usually can't stay in one style for too long since I have some odd obsession with learning new art styles.

Peace out ya'll and remember, even if you may not think your art is good, it is in my eyes and many others, practice, practice, practice is the key.

Plus don't get down bout the lil things cause life's too short, just when ya think your done with one thing another harder challenge heads your way.

Keep yo nose clean, and keep your head up and look for whatever inspires you and helps you to rise against. =)

One last thing is that I havn't been on the net due to the fact my ma was late on some bills. =/

Well, I'm a cadet in a program called NJROTC (Navy Junior Reserve Officer Training Corp) in high school, I'm not at the bottom of the barrel or at the head of the pack, I've been the Chaplin for part of the 11th grade and planning on becoming the Chaplin for 12th grade (No I'm not super Christian where I don't have any fun in life, I just like to help people alot).

==========================================

Update 9/7/09 7:05pm

==========================================

I'm still a cadet in NJROTC, I'm still the Chaplin and I'm in 12th grade, oh yeh.

Also I'm an NS-4 for NJROTC, hmmm, plus planing on joining the Navy. =)

==========================================

In my free time I like to practice playing my guitar, draw, hang out with my pals (if they're not acting like idiots), listening to music like I was breathing air, and to go work out at da local gym.

I'm a deep and kind person and an easy going pal.

My plans for the future I'll keep to myself. (Lol, sry)

I've been drawing since I could hold a pencil, I started doing Manga around 5th grade to bout 8th grade, 9th grade I started to shift gears toward my own flavor of drawing.

A lil somethin to add on I have taken almost zero art classes, I failed my visual art classes for 8th grade and 9th grade due to the same snotty lard art teacher who hated me for no apparent reason, I would draw my butt off in there. SOOOOO, this art style has had almost no influence on any other art style.

The funny thing is that I spent allot of my childhood in Japan but I wasn't truly inspired to draw toonish things until 5th grade back in the US.

My father was in the military and I believe the first time I saw Japanese cartooning was when I, A.) bought some street fighter books in Japan, and B.) when I went to the college my mother worked at to teach English to Japanese students, they were having an art contest I think and it looked so amazing to me back then, no not that pink furry cute stuff, I mean some deep drawing, paintings, and other works done with colored pencils and such. I didn't know what the art style was called back then but I was still somewhat interested.

“War makes the world understandable, a black and white tableau of them and us. It suspends thought, especially self-critical thought. All bow before the supreme effort. We are one. Most of us willingly accept war as long as we can fold it into a belief system that paints ensuing suffering as necessary for a higher good, for human beings seek not only happiness but also meaning. And tragically war is sometimes the most powerful way in human society to achieve meaning.”
-Chris Hedges.

"Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known."
-Oscar Wilde (1854-1900), writer

"The most simplest weapon is the most greatest one"
-Sun Tzu, The Art Of War

The Sun Tzu quote has to do with simplicity in all things, sometimes the most difficult things to do in life are the simplest
